SafeAI Tutor is a product of SafeAI Tutor, LLC, a Georgia limited liability company with its principal place of business at 10945 State Bridge Rd. Ste 401 #169, Alpharetta, GA 30022. When we say "SafeAI," "we," "us," or "our" in these Terms, we mean SafeAI Tutor, LLC operating the SafeAI Tutor service.
SafeAI Tutor is an AI-powered educational tutoring platform designed for K–12 students. It is accessible at safeaitutor.com and through the ShieldCampus mobile application and shieldcampusapp.com website.
SafeAI Tutor operates on technology infrastructure owned by ShieldCampus, LLC ("ShieldCampus"), a separate and independently operated Georgia limited liability company, under a Platform Services Agreement between ShieldCampus and SafeAI Tutor, LLC. You may access SafeAI Tutor through ShieldCampus-branded applications or websites because SafeAI Tutor runs on that infrastructure — but ShieldCampus's role is limited to providing that underlying technology hosting. ShieldCampus does not develop, control, or operate the SafeAI Tutor tutoring service, and is not a party to these Terms. Your agreement for SafeAI Tutor is solely with SafeAI Tutor, LLC.
By creating an account, clicking "Let's Go," or otherwise accessing or using SafeAI Tutor, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use SafeAI Tutor.
These Terms form a binding agreement between you — the parent or legal guardian creating an account — and SafeAI Tutor, LLC. If you are creating an account on behalf of a child, you represent that you have the legal authority to do so and to bind yourself and your child to these Terms.
SafeAI is designed for use by children in grades K–12. Parent or legal guardian accounts may be created by adults 18 years of age or older.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including the login codes you share with your children. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to keep that information current. Accounts created with false information may be terminated without notice.
Student login codes are single-use access credentials tied to a specific child's profile. Do not share your child's login code with anyone outside your household. If you believe a login code has been compromised, contact us and we will generate a new one.
SafeAI provides an AI-powered Socratic tutoring experience for K–12 students. The service guides students toward answers through questions rather than providing direct answers, supporting the development of critical thinking and genuine understanding.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time with reasonable notice.
New accounts receive 3 free sessions per child with no credit card required.
Subscriptions are billed monthly on the date of initial subscription. All fees are in U.S. dollars. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.
Payments are processed securely through Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full credit card number on our servers. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel.
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard or by contacting us at support@safeaitutor.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial months, but you retain access through the end of your paid period. If you believe a charge was made in error, contact us within 30 days.
We use the information we collect to:
Session messages and uploaded files are retained for 12 months, after which they may be deleted automatically. Account information is retained while your account is active. Upon deletion, all personal data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
SafeAI is designed to comply with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA). Where SafeAI Tutor is used in connection with a school that has contracted with ShieldCampus LLC or SafeAI Tutor LLC, we operate as a "school official" under FERPA with a legitimate educational interest in the data we process.

SafeAI uses artificial intelligence to power tutoring conversations. Conversation content is transmitted to one or more AI providers for processing. We currently use, and may in the future use, any combination of the following AI providers:

Each provider has its own privacy policy governing their use of data, and we maintain data processing agreements restricting their use of your information.
You agree to use SafeAI only for lawful educational purposes. You and your child agree not to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice and without refund.
All content, features, and functionality of SafeAI Tutor are owned by SafeAI Tutor, LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use SafeAI for personal, non-commercial educational use only.
Content you or your child submit through SafeAI remains yours. You grant us a limited license to use that content solely to provide the service to you. If you provide feedback or suggestions, we may use that feedback without compensation or obligation to you.
SafeAI is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. SafeAI is an educational aid, not a replacement for qualified teachers, tutors, or educational professionals. We make no guarantees about academic outcomes resulting from use of SafeAI.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SafeAI Tutor, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of SafeAI Tutor. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
Some states do not allow limitations on implied warranties or exclusion of incidental damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
ShieldCampus, LLC is not a party to these Terms and has no liability to you arising from your use of SafeAI Tutor. Although you may access SafeAI Tutor through ShieldCampus-branded applications or websites, ShieldCampus provides only the underlying technology infrastructure to SafeAI Tutor, LLC under a separate agreement between those companies, and does not develop, operate, monitor, or take responsibility for the SafeAI Tutor tutoring service, its content, or the data associated with it. Any claim relating to SafeAI Tutor should be directed to SafeAI Tutor, LLC as described in these Terms.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us at support@safeaitutor.com. We will delete your account and associated data within 30 days.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if continued access poses a security or safety risk. Sections 7, 8, 12, 13, and 16 survive termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of SafeAI after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. Any dispute shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Fulton County, Georgia. Before initiating legal action, you agree to contact us at support@safeaitutor.com and give us 30 days to attempt informal resolution.
